Preserve citation details, relevant passages, supported claims, access dates, editions, locations, archive status, permissions, and source limitations.

## Usage note

Complete a record when you first read a useful source, while page numbers, timestamps, table labels, and context are available. Follow the citation style required by your publication, school, client, or discipline. This sheet helps preserve evidence but does not grant permission to reproduce copyrighted material or bypass access restrictions.

## How to use this template

1. Assign a stable source ID and capture full creator, title, publisher, date, version, identifier, and location.
2. Record the exact passage, table, figure, or timestamp relevant to the planned claim.
3. Explain what the source supports and the qualifications it does not remove.
4. Document access conditions, storage location, reproduction permission, and archive or version status.
5. Link the record to draft claims and update it whenever the source or wording changes.
