# Homepage Content Inventory

Evaluate whether a homepage explains the organization, audience, products, evidence, trust, boundaries, and routes visitors to their most important tasks.

## Usage note

Use this inventory on the rendered homepage and its navigation at relevant screen sizes. It records what is present, missing, duplicated, stale, or unsupported before a redesign begins. A homepage does not need to explain every product detail, but it must orient real visitors honestly and route them to pages that complete their tasks.

## How to use this template

1. Capture the live homepage, device states, navigation, overlays, and every content block in order.
2. Assign each block a visitor, message, evidence, action, destination, and owner.
3. Map priority audience tasks to the shortest clear route from the homepage.
4. Audit repeated, unsupported, stale, missing, or obstructive content.
5. Prioritize keep, revise, move, add, or remove decisions and validate the updated journeys.
